  Last night my hubby and I went into this location (around 7:30pm) to have a look at purchasing a new dryer. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman who took the time to answer any questions and gave us some wonderful advice. We didn't end up purchasing a dryer at this visit, but we will definetely be back when the time comes. I'm aweful at remembering names.. but i just wanted to thank him for the wonderful customer service he gave us.

  Went in today, ready to make a purchase but the product was on a top shelf. Took me 10 minutes to flag down an employee and this person then took off looking for a ladder. I left after waiting 10 minutes. The store is nice, lots of products and large variety of brands. But selection is useless if the place is so short-staffed. The prices are good so I will probably make one more attempt at this. But what a disappointment.

  3/3 negative experiences at Lowes! This most recent one was with appliances - they have a price beat guarantee of 10%, but will not match unless several dozen criteria are met. Basically in Ottawa it is near impossible to do. They will also not negotiate and have blocked their biggest competitor on their website so you cannot look up the price in the store! Very uncompetitive and not customer friendly unless you are paying full price.

  This Lowe's location seems always short staffed! Went to buy LED light bulbs that were advertised in their flyer in December 2016, and couldn't find anyone who'd bother retrieve them from the receiving room after wasting 40 minutes (it showed 200+ in stock online, but none was on the shelves). Called the Orleans location and they knew exactly what I was looking for, and reserved them for me right away. Again went to buy LG Washer Dryer in August 2017. Waited for 30 minutes and no sales staff were available!! Went to Home Depot and they gladly price matched and gave me an extra 10% off!!
